Patchi

There’s little chance of going wrong with chocolates and this hamper’s bound to bring cheer to all. On offer is a Rosenthal silver platter packed with Patchi’s Classic, Deluxe, Patchi Specials and Patchi Patchino chocolates. And there’s a special choice of sugar-free and diet chocolates too. Make your choice between white, milk and dark chocolate. Hampers start from Rs 1,100 and go upto Rs 30,000.

Orders should be placed a day in advance at 011 40575038.

Mama Mia!

This one’s certainly for the kids. The highlight of this platter is a two tier poker-themed raspberry and white chocolate cake. To complement this are rangoli-themed cup cakes in tiramisu and Belgian chocolate flavours. Tiny roundels made with cake crumbs and chocolate ganache with firecracker icing make it fully festive. Also, the apple and raspberry crumble pies, blueberry custard pie and chocolate fudge pies are great additions. Priced between Rs 1,000 and Rs 5,000.

Chhappan Bhog

Stay true to tradition with this hamper offering pistachio barfi in a silver box and five kinds of laddus served on a silver platter. Or pamper family and friends with dry fruits and a tin of green cardamom. For chocolate lovers there is a box each of handmade chocolate and spiced chocolates. Along with these come six juice cans, a bottle of blueberry and pomegranate concentrate and a candle box. Prices start at Rs 3,500 and go upto Rs 20,000.

The Oberoi Grand

The Golden Hamper is the last word in hampers. It includes everything from a bottle each of single malt whiskey, champagne and cognac to Thai spiced cashew nuts and Oberoi special pralines. But it doesn’t stop there. There’s Davidoff Café Grande Cuvee coffee and Tuscan honey and The Olive Tree range of Kalamata olives and extra virgin olive oil, Edmond Fallot cheese and mustard. Going beyond these, there are other lavish offerings like a Swarovski miniature and a Mont Blanc pen along with silver-plated Lakshmi and gold leaf Ganesh. A Hugo Boss fragrance and miniatures from Oriental Gem and Jewellers are also thrown in to prove that all that glitters is indeed The Golden Hamper. The hampers start at Rs 3,500 (though they won’t have most of the goodies mentioned above) and go all the way to around Rs 1.25 lakh.

Swissôtel

Switzerland meets India in this hamper with heaps of chocolates, cookies, brownies and an assortment of nuts. In addition, there are jujubes and marshmallows, sweet bread loaves and cheese straws. Finally, kaju barfi and son papri mark the marriage of the Indian sweet tooth with Swiss afters. A Swiss bell and a transferable Swiss gift card, make this hamper a hearty one. (Rs10,000)
