Plans on to bring Pele

If things go according to plan, the city may get to host the legendary Pele for the second time, since his last visit in 1977. According to sources, the icon may reach the city on December 7 as a special invitee for the December 8 exhibition tie involving former Brazil captain Dunga, Bebeto and other ex-World Cuppers.

“We’re trying our level best to bring in Pele as special guest for the December 8 programme. Let’s hope there will be a positive outcome,” said a representative of organisers.
