Kokrajhar, Nov. 9: Green Valley, Guwahati, emerged champions in the 15th edition of the Daoharu Mungkhlong Football Trophy at Dotma Sports Association ground in Kokrajhar today, defeating South Eastern Railway, Jharkhand 5-1. Sanjib Rongpi and Michael Lucky scored two goals for Green Valley, while Sayaram Basumatary scored one.
BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary gave away the trophy and a cheque for Rs 50,000 to the champions.
D. Kashyap of Railways was named Best Player.
