Help for victims’ kin

Purnea, Nov. 8: A three-member delegation of the Jharkhand government on Thursday gave Rs 25,000 to each of the three families whose members were killed in firing in the district’s Bhatsara village.

The delegation, led by health minister Hem Lal Murmu, comprised two Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) legislators Shashank Shekhar Bhukta and Dipak Birua and BJP MLA Barkiar Gagrai.

On November 4, criminals had shot dead Rakesh Tuddu, Karan Tuddu and Manju Marandi and injured four others.
