Kokrajhar, Nov. 1: The 13 Bodoland Martyrs’ Gold Cup football trophy kicked off today at the KDSA stadium here, with Boka Junior Sports Academy, Tura, defeating Tarun Sangha of North Bengal by 5-2 goals. T.N. Marak scored four goals for Boka Junior and K. Marak scored the fifth. For Tarun Sangha, Amit Thakur and Bishnu Uraun reduced the margin.
JSB Gold Cup: Sports Authority of India (SAI) Kokrajhar defeated Rhino Army, Tezpur 5-4 via tie-breaker to move into the next round of the 11th Jwhwlao Swmbla Basumatary Memorial Gold Cup football trophy at Bangaldoba in Chirang today. Kausik Narzary of Rhino Army scored the first goal. Geremsa Basumatary levelled the score.
