A 28-year-old and his three accomplices were arrested for robbery on Tuesday.
Pintu Soni had masterminded the robbery at the home of his older brother Rajesh (45).
Pintu was arrested from his brother’s home at Sukurhuttu village in Kanke police station area on the outskirts of Ranchi, while his aides were nabbed from Chatti and Jordag villages in Keredari police station area of Hazaribagh district.
Senior superintendent of police Saket Kumar Singh said the dacoity took place on the intervening night of August 17 and 18 this year. Rs 10,000 in cash, three mobile phones besides gold and silver ornaments had been taken away.
The three accomplices were identified as Anand Soni (26), Dukhan Paswan (25) and Lallu Sahu alias Rajendra Sahu (24).
