Hyderabad, Oct. 26 (PTI): Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu injured his back when the dais from which he was addressing a gathering collapsed late tonight.
“By God’s grace and your blessings, nothing happened. I am fine,” Chandrababu told his supporters soon after security personnel helped him to his feet.
Naidu, the leader of Opposition in Andhra, tried to continue a padayatra after the mishap in Mahbubnagar district but complained of back pain after walking about a kilometre. Doctors noticed a swelling on his back and advised immediate rest.
