United SC favourites

Calcutta/New Delhi: Prayag United SC will look to continue their winning momentum as they prepare to take on minnows ONGC in a third round I-League match at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi on Friday.

Having thrashed Air India 5-1 in their opening game and then beating heavyweights Mohun Bagan 2-1, United SC are brimming with confidence. Placed at the top of the table, the Sanjoy Sen-coached side will be aiming to put up a good show in their first away match of the I-League.

Speaking about their excellent start, Sanjoy Sen said: “Getting the right momentum at the start is very importantů I think we got that. Now, we have to maintain the momentum... ONGC will come hard at us. We need to be cautious.”
