Fans add life: Hamilton

Greater Noida: As the countdown for the Indian Grand Prix begins, leading drivers on Thursday said they were happy with the track at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC). Here’s what the leading drivers had to say about the track:

Lewis Hamilton (McLaren): The city comes alive and the circuit is just as alive because of all the fans. It’s a challenging circuit. I think all the fans are what make this a really special event.

Nico Hulkenberg (Force India): I’ve been here a few times and I enjoy every time I come here. It’s a very different culture and a special experience for me. It’s very different from other Asian venues. People here are very welcoming, very friendly. I enjoy being here.

Narain Karthikeyan (HRT): We are coming off a hugely successful race last year. We hope for a big crowd on Sunday. The conditions are a lot better than it was last year. We have a higher level of grip, which is great.
