On the menu: Go for RosCream — rosogolla and French vanilla ice cream topped with saffron sauce and garnished with pistachio slivers. Or Nolen Gur Sundae (picture above), a yummy concoction of butterscotch and nolen gur ice cream with nolen gur drizzled on top!

THE STADEL

Where: Gate No. 3, Salt Lake Stadium

When: Till October 28; noon to 4pm and 7pm to 1am

On the menu: A part of the special a la carte spread at The Stadel’s First Innings are Indian and Chinese delicacies. Order Jhinga Afghani Kebab (prawns cooked in curd, cashewnuts and spices), Hyderabadi Gosht (mutton cooked in tomato, cashewnuts and assorted spices) or Mandarin Fish.

Pocket pinch: Around Rs 1,000 for a meal for two, a la carte.

RESTAURANT ON THE FIRST FLOOR

Where: 50/1 B Purna Das Road

When: Till November 15;noon to 3.30pm,6.30pm to 11.30pm

On the menu:From starters like Murg Tangdi (chicken drumsticks marinated with pickled spices and cooked in a clay oven) to main courses that include Bhuni Machhli (tawa-style fresh water fish with sprinklings of cilantro and green onions) and Maans Banjara (chicken cooked in a red chilli-and-saffron gravy), there’s quite a treat waiting.

Pocket pinch:A meal for two would come for around Rs 700.
