Weak start by Assam

Guwahati, Oct 19: Assam were bundled out for 181 in 80.2 overs against hosts Hyderabad on the first day of their four-day C.K. Nayudu Trophy under-25 plate group A match in Hyderabad today.

U-19 cricket: Assam will play Jharkhand in Tinsukia and Bengal will meet Tripura in Dibrugarh on the inaugural day of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy (U-19) East Zone one-day cricket tournament tomorrow.

Selection trial: The directorate of sports and youth welfare will organise a karate selection trial at Rudra Singha Sports Complex here on October 20 to select the Assam team for the U-19 National School Karate Championship.
