Imphal, Oct. 16: Southern Sporting Union defeated North Eastern Reorganisation Cultural Association 1-0 in the 7th Manipur State League at Khuman Lampak main stadium, rising to the top of the league table.
In another match, Eastern Sporting Union surprised defending champions North Imphal Sporting Association by 3-1 goals.
Open tennis: N. Pradip Singh moved into the second round of the men’s singles of the 2nd CYLC state-level open tennis championship played on Chingamathak deco turf in Imphal West today.
