A Class XII student of Sheikhpura-based Navodaya Vidyalaya, Deepak Kumar, was allegedly abducted from the residential school on Sunday and beaten up.
His brother, Raushan Kumar, who studies in the same school and class, said: “Some people picked up my brother from the campus around 4.30am. After assaulting Deepak, they admitted him to the sadar hospital.” As Deepak’s condition was serious, he was transferred to Patna Medical College and Hospital. The school authorities were unavailable for comment. Sheikhpura Town deputy superintendent of police Santosh Kumar confirmed the incident.
