Calcutta: Manoj Sewa and Raseena Chablani reigned supreme in the men’s and women’s finals respectively of the Calcutta Hard Court Tennis Championship, at the South Club, on Saturday.
Manoj defeated fourth-seeded Farid Alam 6-1, 7-2, while Raseena beat Neha Prasad 6-1, 6-2.
The veteran singles final proved to be a one-sided affair for top seed Ashok Kumar. He defeated Ashok Prasad 6-2, 6-3.
In the veteran doubles final, the second-seeded pair of Jaffer Nayeem & H L Bhandari got the better of Aditya Karnani and Krishanu Dey 6-2, 6-2.
