Govinda & Remo to judge dance contest

Bollywood actor Govinda and choreographer Remo D’Souza would be in the state capital in November to judge dance moves at a contest aimed at giving budding talents from smaller cities and towns a platform to showcase their skills.

The actor and the celebrity choreographer would judge the final of the dance competition “Dance Bihar Dance” at SK Memorial Hall.

K.N. Prasad, the director of the event management firm organising the contest, said: “Govinda and Remo have confirmed their visit. It will be a great opportunity for the contestants to impress the judges with their moves. The final round would be held in November. The dates are yet to be finalised.”

He added: “We have conducted auditions in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Begusarai and others. We will also go to Samastipur, Motihari and other places to give youths from smaller towns a chance.”

“The winner would get a scholarship. He/she will get a chance to learn dance at an institute in Mumbai,” said Prasad.
