Morning Star dazzle Reunion

Nagaon, Oct. 10: Football heavyweight Morning Star entered the final of the 3rd KHEP Neepco Kopili Cup football tournament, defeating Reunion Society 11-0 in a semi-final match at Garampani sports association’s Umrangsu ground today.

Morning Star led 5-0 till the end of first half.

Morning Star’s Nigerian striker Sanny Saluiaman scored the first goal in the very first minute through a free kick. Saluiaman scored five more goals in the 18th, 61st, 74th, 75th and 78th minutes.

Midfielder Zim Engti scored the second goal from the D box in the 13th minute.

Right-winger E.G. Denial scored the third and fourth goals in the 30th and 37th minutes. Right-winger Biren Teron’s corner shot brought the fifth goal for Morning star in the 50th minute. Teron netted the sixth goal in the 47th minute.
