Guwahati, Oct. 7: Nagaland Police advanced to the quarter-finals, edging past Morning Star Club, Diphu 5-4 via tie-breaker in the 64th Independence Day Cup all-India invitation football tournament at Nurul Amin Stadium in Nagaon today.
For Morning Star, Jin Engti scored a brace, while Lipok and Nandai Bonang scored one each for Nagaland.
