TOLLYWOOD 2

While Kaushik Ganguly was shooting C/ Sir with Saswata Chatterjee and Raima Sen in Delo, 9km from Kalimpong town, wife Churni had put up at Park Hotel in the heart of Kalimpong. The actress was there to shoot for Arjun where she plays Neelam, a governess. Kaushik kept calling Churni till she invited him and his team over for coffee one sunny morning. Kaushik and Raima, being the foodies they are, weren’t happy with only coffee. So Churni ordered omelette and toast. Spicing up the breakfast feast was rib-tickling laughter thanks to Saswata. A sample: “Can you imagine what happens to a man when two women sit on his lap (picture above)?!” That, and many other quips, had everyone ROFL!

With Kaushik polishing off a plate of paratha and chholey, the two ladies had to order another round of sandwiches and omelette. That did not stop Kaushik from pinching a sandwich from wifey’s plate! “He is such a foodie, nah!” sighed Churni.

Early one morning it was a rude awakening for Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, thanks to pranksters Saswata and Raima. The two knocked on his door screaming ‘room service’! Later, the two men got busy discussing the weather and the hills, while Churni and Raima chatted about make-up and more!

Saswata turned Mowgli at the hotel’s entrance clutching on to some flowers hanging from the roof, sending Raima into fits of laughter! “I am having so much fun with Saswata, I can’t tell you. I am laughing all through the day and even during shots because of his jokes. He is just so, so funny!” she, well, laughed again.

Om (plays the title role in Arjun) shyly walked up to Sandip and asked him “Ami thik korchhi toh (Am I doing okay)?” Sandip’s reply: “Jomiye kaaj koro, khub bhalo hochhe (Keep working hard, you are doing very well).”

Sabyasachi, Sandip and Lolita off for another round of adda at The Silver Oak, in the heart of Kalimpong, where the Rays had put up.
