The party: In a black silk sari, Swastika Mukherjee looked smouldering hot in a party sequence for Mainak Bhaumik’s Take One where she plays actress Doel Mitra

......................................Sampurna, Mainak and Swastika check out the monitor. “Doel attends an event where she meets her boyfriend (Vikramjit) and his actress friend Sampurna and she breaks down. You can say it’s the breaking point of the film where all of Doel’s pent-up anger and insecurities are bared,” explained Mainak. The Take One team was shooting at Rajarhat’s Blue Hugli on Monday night. “I have never ever played such an overpowering character before,” Swastika added. Paoli does a Sridevi! That’s Paoli Dam (left) in a white chiffon sari crooning Har kisi ko nahi milta (lip-synced by Sridevi in Jaanbaaz) as her on-screen lover Indraneil Sengupta, sporting a retro look, looks on. The duo were shooting the song sequence for Birsa Dasgupta’s spooky comedy Obhishopto Nighty at Cafe Delight in New Market on Wednesday. “Cafe Delight is such an interesting place. I never knew there was such a nice bar in New Market,” smiled Paoli who plays Monica, a bar crooner from the 80s.
