Guwahati, Oct. 3: The Assam government has released the schedule for publication of the final electoral rolls today with a view to holding election to the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council.
According to the schedule, the draft of the electoral roll will be published tomorrow.
The period of filing claims and objection to the draft electoral roll is from October 4-18, 2012.
Disposal of claims and objections is from October 19 to November 19, a period of one month.
The date of preparation of manuscript and printing of electoral rolls is November 20, while publication of the final list of electoral rolls has been fixed for November 22.
