BSF sources said heroin valued at more than Rs 39 lakh was seized from Karimganj district.

Acting on specific information that some people were carrying the narcotic, personnel from the BSF’s Mizoram and Cachar frontier headquarters carried out an operation near Churkhuri village last night, added PTI.
