Officers of Entally police station on Thursday arrested Shakil Javed for shooting at a tailor in Entally on Tuesday evening.
Javed, 40, was picked up from his house at 29 Palm Avenue and remanded in police custody till October 10.
Three bike-borne youths raided a tailoring shop in Entally, a stone’s throw from a reputable school, and shot at the 28-year-old owner, Omar Hussain.
“Javed had pulled the trigger. The other two stood guard at the gate of the shop. Javed had also conducted a recce of the spot before the attack,” said an officer of Entally police station. As for the motive of the attack, the officer said: “We will find out the reason after questioning Javed.”
