Nagaon, Sept. 24: Morning Star entered the final of the 8th Chief Executive Member Cup football tournament defeating United Dimapur football club 4-3 through tie-breaker in the first semi-final at the N.L. Daulogupu sports complex in Haflong today.
The match was goalless till the end of scheduled time.
Sanny Saluiaman and Jerry K. Sunday, Jim Engti and Abhijit scored for Morning Star while Rakesh Singner missed his shot.
In return, P.L. Hmar, L. Hmar and Kenne scored for the Dimapur team.
The final will be held on September 27.
119 Territorial Army defeated Youth Organisation Sporting club Manipur in the last quarter-final yesterday.
BOROK Football Club, Tripura will meet hosts 119 Territorial Army in the last semi-final tomorrow.
