Third fitness challenge announced

Imphal, Sept. 21: The Apunba Fitness Centre will be reaching out to health-conscious youths of the Northeast though its 3rd AFC Transformation Challenge, 2013.

The centre said this last night while announcing that K. Laxmi Devi will head the human resource division and Th. Romesh Singh will be manager during the campaign for the third challenge that starts in November.

The challenge offers a 90-day regime to participants to either lose or gain weight and get in shape and offers Rs 50,000 as the top prize in both male and female categories, Rs 30,000 each for second spot, Rs 10,000 each for third spot, Rs 5,000 for fourth and Rs 2000 for the fifth spot.

The ongoing 2nd AFC challenge has 160 participants, including 50 women, and will have its mega final on October 28 at BOAT, Palace Compound, here.
