Bolly hook to fight addiction

Odyssey Wonder — an entrepreneurial venture of XLRI students in association with all-women outfit Inner Wheel Club’s youth wing Zest — has planned an entertainment night laced with messages for troubled youths.

The entertainment gala, Bollywood Nite, on September 23 at Nicco Jubilee Amusement Park will aim to create awareness about the ill effects of drugs and persuade young minds to healthy lives and curb suicidal tendencies.

President of Zest Sukanya Das said, “We will kick off the programme with the screening of a short movie, Fight with Failure, on suicide and drugs made by city-based film-makers and featuring local actors.”

The evening will also feature local band Prakriyth — The Voice of Silence and city-based DJ Wasim.

Entry passes will be available at Odyssey Wonders, Nicco Amusement Park and Zest.
