A Plum JOB: On Tuesday, actress Sudipta Chakraborty, HHI chiefs and chefs got merry and messy. They made a mix of around 500kg of dry fruits, which were then soaked in liquor and left to ferment. “It’s the first step to baking the Christmas plum cakes. It takes around 90 days for the mixture to ferment. While mixing the liquor and dry fruits, we even add coins. Those who find the coins are considered lucky,” said corporate chef Utpal Mondal.
