BRC Aquatic Meet — 2012 saw four city clubs — The Calcutta Swimming Club, The Saturday Club, Ordnance Club and The Bengal Rowing Club — engage in some serious pool splash recently. “We want to promote swimming, especially now, because we have renovated the pool,” said Vikram Baid, co-chairman, sports committee, BRC.

The contest saw lots of cheering from parents, friends and relatives. And BRC, with its strong team of cheerleaders, led from the front. CSC was crowned champion followed by BRC, The Saturday Club and Ordnance Club.
