Spinners can win it for India: MacGill

New Delhi: Former Australia leg-spinner Stuart MacGill feels Harbhajan Singh would have to play the lead role if India want to win the T20 World championship that started in Sri Lanka on Tuesday. The 41-year-old former bowler is currently in the capital as the manager of Jamie Dwyer, the captain of the Australian hockey team.

Asked about India’s chances in the T20 championship, MacGill said: “India have a strong chance of winning the title but Harbhajan Singh will have to come good there. He is big turner and that is going to be very crucial.

“If India win, it will be because of their spinners. Otherwise, they have a perfect batting line up. I was bit disappointed by their performance in the warm up match but they will recover and do well,” felt MacGill.
