BLAST FROM THE PAST: As part of Hyatt Regency’s 10-year celebrations, the Salt Lake hotel has whipped up quite a spread — the entire menu at Year 2002 prices!

At Waterside Cafe, the buffet breakfast is priced at Rs 350; lunch and dinner is for Rs 550. On Sunday, things get even better. The Sunday brunch comes for Rs 675 (without alcohol) and Rs 1,075 with the tipple. At Guchhi and The Bakery, enjoy the a la carte menu at Y 2002 prices too. So the yummy Guchhi Dal which costs around Rs 650 comes for Rs 370, and Murgh Makhanwala which is otherwise Rs 850 is now Rs 525. Italian restaurant La Cucina, which opened in 2004, is also offering meals at the first-year rates. But in case you were wondering, no, the offer is not valid on the room rates!
