Guwahati, Sept. 13: The principal secretary (home department) today reviewed security arrangements at vital installations such as oil pipelines, refineries and other vulnerable places.
The decision to tighten security was taken on the basis of recent intelligence inputs that suggested the possibility of sabotage by militants.
Ulfa struck thrice in the past fortnight at Doomdooma, Guwahati and Bongaigaon leaving two people dead.
