MP loses cool over fire query

Bokaro, Sept. 12: Giridih MP Ravindra Pandey, the co-owner of KM Memorial Hospital where three ICU patients were killed in a fire last Friday, today lost his temper before mediapersons.

The BJP MP had come to meet the Bokaro DC, Sunil Kumar, at his chamber here. Pandey came at 1pm and had closed-door talks with the DC for about an hour.

As the MP stepped out, mediapersons asked if he had met the DC to pressure him to soften the administration’s stance, as an FIR citing negligence has already been filed against the management of the Chas-based hospital.

“I don’t want to listen to any rubbish. Publish whatever you want. It won’t make any difference. Do your own work. I don’t want to listen to anything about pressure. I don’t need to tell you what happened at the meeting,” snarled the MP.
