Jorhat, Sept 11: Ditimoni Bora — the head of the department of English at N.N. Saikia College in Titabar — today went on an indefinite fast in front of the college in protest of her suspension.
The governing body of the college had suspended her on August 31 for alleged misconduct. She has demanded a high-level probe into the order.
