Actor Sanjay Kapoor’s better half started creating jewellery as a hobby but now she’s a full-time designer. Meet Maheep Kapoor (in picture), who was in town to participate in Bon Vivant, a lifestyle exhibition in association with t2.

Solitaires, tennis bracelets and diamond bangles. They are timeless!

2 A celebrity whose treasure trove you want to raid:

izabeth Taylor. Her jewellery is exquisite and the pieces have so much romance behind them. Absolutely breathtaking!

3 A Hollywood celebrity you would like to see in your jewels:

I feel like a child in a candy store. There are so many names I would like to mention but if I had to choose, it would be Meryl Streep or Angelina Jolie. Both these ladies are way too glamorous!

4 Jewellery on men — yes or no? Bare minimum! A wedding band is necessary. Apart from that the lesser they wear, the better! Not many men can carry off accessories.

5 Who according to you can? In Hollywood, it’s Brad Pitt. Closer home, Arjun Rampal is the only man that can.

6 The best-dressed woman according to you...

7 An Indian designer you would love to collaborate with:

My jewellery can be collaborated with any designer but I feel Sabyasachi Mukherjee or Nandita Mahtani would be apt.

10 One thing you love about being a celebrity wife:

The platform my work has got... my jewellery has got so much exposure — none of this would have happened so fast if it weren’t for my name.
