Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seems to have changed her mind about travelling to meet her husband. Remember the actress wasn’t keen on undertaking a long flight to Chicago because she doesn’t have a nanny for Aaradhya? The news filtering in from Jalsa is that Ash will soon be packing her bags for a long trip. “Ash is planning a trip to New York. She has some endorsement commitments. She doesn’t want to ignore her international endorsement commitments any longer,” explains a source close to the actress. With the likes of Freida Pinto and Sonam Kapoor becoming a part of the brand that Ash represented alone for many years, the source says that she is worried that she might lose out completely if she stays away for too long. “She’s been on a maternity break for over a year-and-a-half; it’s time for her to make her presence felt,” adds the source. Next stop after the Big Apple for the mother-daughter pair would be Chicago where Abhishek is going to be stationed for almost four months for the shoot of Dhoom:3.

It’s not without reason that Imran Khan has been bestowed with the title of Mr Nice Guy. Recently, the star, along with wife Avantika (left) and a friend, dropped by at his favourite Bandra eatery Indigo Deli for a spot of breakfast. The trio headed straight for their favourite table in the middle of the restaurant. Imran quickly realised that Indigo owners Malini and Rahul Akerkar were in the middle of a photo-shoot for a magazine and that his table was in the frame. When the server was taking his order, Imran requested that they be moved to another table so he didn’t “spoil the shot”. “The server told Imran that he could continue sitting where he was and that he wasn’t bothering the photographer but Imran was insistent,” recalls a source from the deli. After moving to a corner table, Imran and Avantika tucked into a calorie-laden breakfast that included Indigo Deli’s signature Eggs on the Beach.

There is never any dearth of bizarre stories and rumours in Bollywood. The latest one doing the rounds is about a former star who is trying to resurrect her career. The actress who had worked with some of the biggest names in Bollywood surprised everyone when she signed on a failed director and his rumoured boyfriend as the main lead for her big production debut. The film is ready for release and her close friends who have seen the film are still reeling from the disaster. Her friends believe that the director’s brother has done black magic on the actress and that’s the only reason why she has had so much faith in his abilities! This might sound like Ripley’s Believe It Or Not but stranger things have happened in Bollywood.
