Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who had been seeing each other for a little more than a year, have quietly become man and wife. The 35-year-old actor who met the Gossip Girl hottie on the sets of their 2011 film Green Lantern got married in a hush-hush ceremony attended only by family and close friends on Sunday night.
According to sources, the couple tied the knot at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in a white tent, in a simple ceremony. “Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, who is a good friend of Lively’s, performed three songs live and there was also a deejay who spun tunes,” revealed a celebrity source. No other information is available about the wedding, including the good-looking couple’s honeymoon plans.
However, the news is sure to crush Reynolds’ former wife Scarlett Johansson who, according to the grapevine, was hoping to reconcile with him after their two-year-old marriage ended in divorce in 2010.
