Bagan’s big win vs J&K

Srinagar: Mohun Bagan breezed past hosts Jammu and Kashmir 4-0 in an exhibition tie played at Bakshi stadium here on Saturday.

The game was evenly poised during the first 35 minutes as both teams played aggressively.

Bagan took the lead in the 36th minute through Jewel Raja, who tapped in a cross from the right flank.

In the second half, Tolgay Ozebe placed the ball brilliantly past J&K custodian Vikramjeet Singh in the 54th minute while captain Okalie Odafe extended the lead nine minutes later.

Manish Maithani completed the rout by scoring for the visitors in the 68th minute.

This was the third friendly game between a Calcutta-based team and the Jammu and Kashmir state team. Mohammedan Sporting played two friendlies in the valley with hosts emerging as the winners in both the games.
