Calcutta/Visakhapatnam: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, along with five of his teamamtes, arrived in Visakhapatnam, the venue of the first India-New Zealand T20 International.
Accompanying Dhoni on Wednesday were Harbhajan Singh, Umesh Yadav, Lakshmipathy Balaji, Ashok Dinda and Manoj Tiwari. The other Indian players will be arriving from Bangalore on Thursday.
The T20 series precedes the World T20 and hence should be treated as preparatory matches. But the Visakhapatnam match, which is to be played on Saturday, is in the limelight for a different reason.
The world will focus on Yuvraj Singh, who is likely to play his first international match on Saturday after winning his battle against cancer.
With Yuvraj returning to field, the craze for tickets has gone up significantly with 10,000 of tickets being already sold out within an hour after the sales opened on Tuesday.
