Imphal, Sept. 4: Hockey Manipur is all set to host the 64th Senior National Hockey Championship (men’s) for North East Zone from September 8-12 at Khuman Lampak hockey stadium.
Apart from the host, teams from Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram are taking part in the championship, held under the aegis of the Indian Hockey Federation.
Chandan Deb of Tripura will be tournament director and Ng. Motilal Singh the umpire manager. Hockey Manipur has selected 20 players to represent Manipur in the meet.
