Australia, SA in the semis

Calcutta: The Australian Under-19 have pulled off a clinical five wicket victory over Bangladesh Under-19 to secure their spot in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup semi-final.

Captain Will Bosisto won the toss and elected to bowl in overcast conditions at Endeavour Park in Townsville. Left-handed Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar got the visitors off to a good start combing with Liton Das for an opening stand of 64.

South Africa knocked England out of the Under-19 World Cup by overcoming some significant challenges to seal a comprehensive victory: they were playing their first game in Townsville whereas England had prior knowledge of the conditions.
