What to believe!

London: The deputy chef de mission of the Indian contingent, PK Muralidhar Raja, on Tuesday, made a U-turn over boxer Vikas Krishan’s ouster from the Olympics, saying the Indian contingent had not lodged a formal complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland.

However, Raja, in a media release on Saturday, had stated that India had submitted an appeal letter to CAS general secretary Matthew Reeb against AIBA’s decision to reverse Vikas’ win over American boxer Errol Spence.

On Monday, Raja once again issued a release saying the appeal was rejected.
