EPFO deposit move

New Delhi, Aug. 7: The Central Board of Trustees — the apex decision making body of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation — today gave its approval to the retirement fund body to park its funds in fixed deposits up to five years, short-term securities and certificate of deposits of public sector banks. However these proposals will have to be cleared by the government before implementation.
