July 31: The Kamrup (metro) district administration today asked encroachers to remove the roadside religious structures in the city obstructing movement of pedestrians or it would evict the encroachment, acting on the guidelines of the Supreme Court.
Meeting: A preparatory meeting was held on Tuesday at the conference hall of Kamrup (metro) deputy commissioner’s office to discuss the activity during the two days’ halt of the Red Ribbon Express in Kamakhya railway station on August 9 and 10. The meeting was presided over by additional deputy commissioner F. Ahmed.
