“For a change, I’m doing a masala movie... the whole song-and-dance fare. The last hard-core masala film I had done was Bangla Banchao opposite Bumbada (Prosenjit),” said Paoli, who will move to Mumbai for Vikram Bhatt’s untitled film after Sweet Heart. “I will play a lawyer in my second Hindi film. It’s a courtroom drama.”

After Bhatt’s film, Paoli will be back in Calcutta for a remake of Suchitra Sen’s Dweep Jweley Jai and also Cabaret Queen, based on ’70s cabaret dancer Miss Shefali. “Post-Hate Story, I am getting a lot of offers for mainstream masala films. As of now, I am excited to play a college girl after a long time,” added Paoli.
