Chetri could be axed

New Delhi: Captain Sunil Chetri could be dropped from the Indian team for the Nehru Cup if he does not report for the preparatory camp in time. While the camp is scheduled to begin on August 1, Chetri has informed the AIFF he would only be available from August 20.

Gullit visit

Calcutta: Legendary Dutch footballer Ruud Gullit will be the Guest-in-Chief at the Mohun Bagan Day on Sunday. Gullit is scheduled to arrive in the city on Saturday for a series of promotional activities.

Tolgay reply

Calcutta: Tolgay Ozebe will adhere to the decision of the IFA Players’ Status Committee. It was learnt that he will pay the fine of Rs 10 lakh to East Bengal and Rs 5 lakh to IFA.
