Sampurna, Rudranil Ghosh and Payel Sarkar at the launch of Arindam Chakraborty’s debut film Ekti Asharey Goppo at Taj Bengal on Wednesday. The film is about how movies and filmstars create a make-believe world. “I play an actress and I’m paired opposite Abir (Chatterjee), a director. But once Rudranil, Abir’s manager, comes into our lives, he creates hell!” said Payel. Sampurna plays a struggling actress. Ekti Asharey Goppo goes on the floors next week.
