Katihar: A bag of used cartridges and some arms material was recovered on Sunday near the railway bridge under North Eastern Frontier Railway of Katihar division has triggering panic under the area falling under Kursela police station, 45km west of the district headquarters.
onfirming the recovery, superintendent of railway police of Katihar rail district Sukan Paswan said: “Prima facie, it seems that it is an old plastic bag and contains used cartridges of guns that were is use 30-40 years ago. A military vehicle might have passed through this area and the bag may have fallen down there.”
Bhagalpur: Officials and employees of Rasmek Sark branch, Bhagalpur branch of State Bank of India, celebrated Bank Day by organising a feast for slum dwellers on Sunday. Umbrellas were distributed among elderly residents of the slum.
Patna: Six shops were gutted in a fire which resulted from an alleged short circuit at the Simli Chank area under Ram Krishna police station area. The incident occurred around 10am.
