Etisalat gets DoT notice
New Delhi, June 25: The department of telecom has issued a showcause notice to Etisalat DB for closing down operations in violation of licence conditions. Etisalat’s licences were cancelled by the apex court in February 2 but are valid till September 7. “Its network stopped working even before the court order from January 19. This is against licence conditions,” a DoT official said.
