New Delhi, June 18: Aviation regulator DGCA today directed domestic carriers to have a “relook at route-wise fares and make them rational and reasonable” in the backdrop of a sudden rise in airfares. Director-general of civil aviation E.K. Bharat Bhushan called a meeting of chief executives of all domestic airlines and expressed concern on the exponential increase in fares on various domestic sectors.

Mumbai, June 18: The Indian Banks’ Association today said Bank of India chairman and managing director Alok Misra had been elected chairman of the bankers’ body for the current fiscal. The IBA managing committee elected Misra at its AGM held last Saturday.
