Ignoring her style critics, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a flawless yummy mummy appearance in Sabyasachi on June 12. At the opening party of the Bulgari hotel in London, she stunned all in a delicate ivory floor-sweeping kurta with tone-on-tone embroidery and a black-and-gold dupatta. Sabyasachi chose a soft colour palette for Ash, ditching the too-safe black route. “I can see her as a Pre-Raphaelite painting, with her milky white complexion and well-rounded limbs, almost like Bengal’s Monalisa!” the Calcutta-based designer told t2. Sabya’s main aim was to create an outfit that would reflect Aishwarya’s happy, confident and comfortable state of mind... and body. Well, we love what we see! Especially after a few of her dressed down appearances in the recent past, like the one at the Mumbai airport with daughter Aaradhya.
