Maxi Mania

Red carpets — or green — always call for gorgeous gowns. These four fabulous women win our vote in this department. Kalki Koechlin rocked this Chanel number, while Chitrangda Singh gave her some stiff competition in Gucci. We’re loving the fun floral print — that was some pleasant coincidence! priyanka chopra’s dainty Dolce and Gabbana looked dreamy and as far as colour goes, preity zinta’s Ramona Narang is a win.

PS: Along with the maxis, everyone maxed their hair and make-up too.

SARI STYLE

Bipasha Basu and Nargis Fakhri opted for trendy avatars of the timeless classic. Bips wore a Shivan-Narresh sari and bikini-style blouse (ever so predictably) that showed off her curves to the hilt. (A little lower and that sari would surely drop!) Nargis chose an Anaikka. She had us at the beautiful blue and we also heart the

so-now gunmetal blouse. And vidya balan, as always, took the traditional route. This time Silk wore a black-and-gold silk by Masaba Gupta. The ladies looked lovely!

BOOTYLICIOUS BODYCONS

Ditching tradition and going totally trendy were PYTs Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra. Metal was in full swing as these bodycon babes showed off their curves in Falguni & Shane Peacock, and Anand Bhushan respectively. While Miss Rowdy Rathore mixed some colours with the metallic blue, Miss Ishaqzaade went neutral in gorgeous grey. We prefer Parineeti’s make-up and hair (especially the bold wing-tip liner) to Sonakshi’s a la Bollywood waves and mouth.
